Ross Kudwitt - CEO, Nine Summer

Ross is an IT turnaround specialist and entrepreneur. Until February 2007, Ross was the Acting CIO of Timex Corporation. Ross launched Nine Summer in 2007 and located the office in Woodbridge, Connecticut because it is centrally located in the Nutmeg State. Nine Summer is a product development company with a team of 15 people who collaborate with software, e-business and mobile ventures on building and expanding their businesses. Ross has experience as the acting CIO and CTO for public and private companies ranging from startups to large enterprises, including Advanta, Timex Corporation, GFI Group, Comtex News Network and Netkey.

For nearly 20 years, his keen understanding of technology and IT has helped innumerable clients stay abreast of and implement the right technologies, processes, and organizations that have shaped the industry and his operational experience has kept organizations focused on creating shareholder value and customer satisfaction.

Prior to joining Nine Summer, Ross founded acclaimed startup WebCharity, in his spare time, to help charities raise money and awareness by leveraging the Internet.

Previously, Ross was the President of Applied Management Systems (AMS), a professional software and interface design company specializing in customized e-business and back office applications. AMS designed and developed custom software and systems for Fortune 1000 companies and educational institutions including American Express, Met Life, Great Plains Software, Pitney Bowes, GE and Yale University.

Ross received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and was with IBM before co-founding AMS. At IBM, Ross worked on computer hardware and operating system design with the technology that was part of the original IBM PC. Ross is a member of the CTO Club of New York and the Fairfield & Westchester Chapter of the Society for Information Management.
